Little Italy Festival 2024

Me and my husband visited the Little Italy Festival on Saturday, this was the first time I visited this, it was so exciting! 



Then we had the lunch in an Italian restaurant - Pompette Restaurant.

我哋order咗一個appetizer (Prosciutto), 兩個pasta (Beef Ragu Italian Gnocchis & Mushroom Parisian Gnocchi), 兩個甜品 (Vanilla Soft serve Honey, Olive Oil, Fennel & Vanilla Soft serve Rice Pudding, Salted Caramel, Buckwheat Nougatine).

個appetizer好好食, 食到塊麵包入邊有蒜蓉橄欖油同香草嘅香味, 加埋Parma Ham真係超好食!

對於個正餐Gnocchi, 分別order 咗Italian同Parisian styles, 但兩個都做得唔好.

So far我個人都幾鍾意食Gnocchi, 有D餐廳會煮得好chewy, 有啲會腍少少但都有口感. 今次係 Pompette試咗Italian 同 Parisian styles (根據waiter姐姐嘅解釋, 兩款嘅分別係在於個pasta既chewy 度). 兩款都係腍到好似BB糊仔咁, 口感好差, 一入口好似一pat味焗嘅麵粉, 唔使咬, 用條脷一頂就一pat. 再講吓個sauce, 牛肉個味同牛尾湯一模一樣, 只係濃少少, 冇層次感, 一入口就係牛肉蕃茄味, 再冇任何延伸性. 而個白汁, 普通白汁加芝士, 食唔出有乜特別, 同樣係入口只係有一個味道, 然後就冇其他變化.

甜品方面, 蜜糖同花粉味個雲呢拿雪糕味道係唔錯, 但雪糕偏甜. 個花粉好香好好食, 但點解要落橄欖油呢? 而另一款雪糕配米味嘅布甸同鳥結糖, 由始至終只係食到鳥結糖同少少焦糖味.

當日餐廳個menu係限定只有兩款pasta同三款appetizers, 應該係嘗試control住食物嘅質素, 因為Street Festival嘅人流太多.

呢篇評論可能比分俾得好harsh, 因為我試過其他冇米芝蓮推介嘅餐廳, 好食過佢, 戥其他餐廳唔抵.

To be fair, 我之後會搵機會再去試多一次, 今次唔知係咪因為Street Festival佢哋太忙, 所以水準會咁差.
